8. Testing the RADIUS Server
Assuming you have completed all the previous steps as described,
we can test the RADIUS server. For this test we will use
Evolynx RADIUS Load Test Tool.
Run the Test Tool and enter the IP address and Shared Secret of your RADIUS server
in the specified fields. Enter a valid User ID and
Password in their respective fields. Make sure the
Port Numbers are correct. When you click on Send Request
button under Authentication panel, you will see the counters
next to Request Count and Accept Count or Reject Count
increment.
If a message appears with the following text:
Unable to communicate with RADIUS server. Cannot receive data.
it means that the RADIUS server is not started. Start the
EvolynxRadius service manually, using the Services applet.
