4. Adding RADIUS Clients
Before a
RADIUS Client
can use Evolynx RADIUS server, its information must be added to the list of
Clients. To add a Client, Select Settings from top menu and then click on
"RADIUS Clients".
Click on Add button and enter IP address and secret in the Clients/Edit page.
Then Click on Save button.
Now that a new client has been added to database, you need to inform the RADIUS service to
re-load the client information. To do this click on "Reload Client List to Server"
and then click on "Reload Client Information". If you do not reload the client information,
new clients will not be able to communicate with the server.
Using Clients.txt file
If you prefer to use the "clients.txt" file to define the Clients, change the LoadClientsFromAPI
switch of the config file from "False" to "True". (More
Details) When entering Client information in "clients.txt" file, enter
the IP address and Secret for each new client in one line. IP address and
secret string must be separated by at least one white space (SPACE or TAB).
